Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine Review

Korres products are rather difficult to get hold of where I live (in a rather wet South Wales) so imagine my surprise when my local Waitrose extended it’s selection of Korres products, mainly shower gels, to include the Lip Butters. Yay!

Korres is a Greek skincare brand that offers natural skin and hair products. The lip butters are formulated without parabens, sulphates, synthetic fragrances, petrochemical, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan. And definately no petroleum jelly in sight. The carboard box packaging is gorgeous which features some really cool designs.

Available in a wide variety of scents and colours, you’ll be sure to find one that suits you. If you’re unsure of which colour to chose, I’d definately recommend Guava, or like me, Jasmine. Both offer a very neutral, almost clear gloss over the lips. Jasmine just has the tiniest hint of pink, which proved to be a nightmare to photograph which is why there aren’t any swatches.

The product itself is buttery and soft – there’s no need to warm it with a finger before applying. Despite being a nude-pink in colour, Jasmine applies pretty much clear, very much like a gloss. It’s super hydrating and moisturising, and feels lovely on the lips. It even smells amazing, almost like cookies.

I will definately try and pick up some of the more deeper shades to add a little pop of colour to my lips.
